Rebuilding work at Prague’s main railway station to disrupt services
Essential renovation of the platforms, underpasses, overhead power lines and the main departures and arrivals hall is continuing at Prague's main railway station. Only the new east underpass linking the furthest platforms to the main building is currently in use- all the platforms located beneath the historical art nouveau arches have been dismantled. By new ‘cycle train’ from Prague to Okoř Castle
This year, cyclists, tourists and other travellers can once again make use of a special ‘VELO' ‘cycle train' from Prague via Hostivice to Slaný. The service will operate from 29th March until 2nd November on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The Prague integrated transport tariffs will be in operation on the service.
